Amazon River Cruises

The Amazon River is located in South America and has the distinction of being the largest river by volume in the world. The amount of water in this river is more than the next largest rivers put together. The drainage basin is also the largest of its kind in the world. As far as length is concerned, it is second to the Nile. Some experts declare a toss up when it comes to which river is longest. Another interesting fact is that nowhere is the Amazon crossed by a bridge. One way to experience this majestic river for yourself is on Amazon river cruises.
